Ce projet est un essai visuel sur la communauté des starseeds, un groupe aux dérives sectaires, situé à la frontière entre ésotérisme, New Age et ufologie. Les « graines d'étoiles » se considèrent comme la réincarnation d'âmes extraterrestres sur Terre. L'édition retrace le récit individuel de certains starseeds : de leur premier contact extraterrestre à leur éveil spirituel, jusqu'à leur transformation en émissaires galactiques. La vidéo, sous la forme d'un desktop documentary, souligne les enjeux de la cinquième dimension. Ce projet est soutenu par l'élaboration d'un spécimen typographique s'appuyant sur une curiosité linguistique : celle du Light Language. This project is a visual essay on the starseed community, a group with cult-like tendencies, situated at the crossroads of esotericism, New Age beliefs, and ufology. “Starseeds" consider themselves to be the reincarnation of extraterrestrial souls on Earth. The publication traces the individual narratives of certain starseeds—from their first extraterrestrial contact to their spiritual awakening, and ultimately their transformation into galactic emissaries. The video, presented in the form of a desktop documentary, highlights the issues surrounding the fifth dimension. The project is further supported by the development of a typographic specimen based on a linguistic curiosity: so-called Light Language.
